2007-08: Finished 10^th in the 100-yard breaststroke and 36^th in the 200 breast and 100 free at the Patriot Invitational… Highest finish of the year came against Bucknell where he finished third in the 200 breast in his first collegiate meet… Also finished fifth in the 50 breast and 100 breast at the same meet… Swam season-best times in the 100 breast (59.51), 200 breast (2:09.90) and 200 IM (1:57.24) at the America East Championships, in the 50 breast (28.80) against Bucknell and in the 50 (22.73) and 100 (50.38) freestyles at the Patriot Invite.

Background: A three-time conference champion for Spruce Creek H.S…. Also won district champs his junior and senior years… Named First-Team All-County in 2004, 2005, and 2006 and Second-Team in 2003… Also named to the All-Conference team in 2005 and 2006 and named Second-Team All-Central Florida in 2006… Swam on the Dayton Beach Speed club team with Olympic gold medal winner Ryan Lochte… Lettered in basketball for the Hawks and led his team in three-point field goal percentage… Member of the debate club.
