2006-07: Set a new UMBC record in the 500 freestyle to win the Patriot Invitational… Swam a time of 4:28.52 to break head coach Chad Cradock’s10-year-old record of 4:28.62 set in 1996… Was also part of the school, America East Conference Championship, and Boston University pool record-setting 800 free relay which swam a time of 6:44.18… Also earned bronze in the 200 free, and finished sixth in the 500 free and 10^th in the 200 breaststroke at the America East Championships… Was also part of the Patriot Invite champion 800 free relay and finished second in the 200 free and third in the 200 breast at the same meet… Finished second in the 200 free at three dual meets and second in the 200 breast in three dual meets… Swam UMBC’s second-fastest 200 breast and third-fastest 200 free times of the season.

2005-06: Took silver in the 500-free, bronze in the 200-free and fifth in the 200-breast at the America East Championships… Swam UMBC’s second-fastest 200-free (1:41.45) and 500-free (4:29.69) times of the season… Placed second in the 200-breast and fifth in the 200-free and anchored the second-place 400-medley relay against Rider in the first collegiate meet of his career… Won the 200-breast in dual meets against Seton Hall, Navy and Towson… Swam a season-best time in the 200-breast (2:06.86) at the George Mason Invitational.
