2006-07: Finished fifth in the 100 and 200 freestyle and was part of the fourth place 400 free and medley relays in his first collegiate meet against Rider… Won the 100 free against Marist… Swam season bests in the 50 free (21.99), 100 free (48.14), and 200 free (1:48.20) at the America East Championships.

Background: Member of the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society in high school…also recipient of Presidential Scholarship as a freshman and sophomore… A three-time Philadelphia Catholic League First Team All Catholic selection… Qualified for the Speedo Champions Series in his sophomore, junior and senior years… Also qualified for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class AAA State Championships his junior and senior year… Named his team’s Rookie of the Year in ninth grade and MVP in 10th grade… Led his team to an undefeated 10-0 season as a senior.
