2006-07: Led-off the winning 400 medley relays four times during the season, including as part of the meet record-setting relay at the Patriot Invitational which swam a time of 3:23.19… Set a new America East Championship and Boston University pool record in the 100 backstroke, swimming a time of 49.74 in the preliminaries of the America East Championships… Earned gold in the 100 back, and finished second in the 200 back and third in the 50 freestyle at the America East Championships and was part of the silver medal 400 medley, 200 free, and 200 medley relays… Also was part of the winning 200 medley relay, second place 200 free relay, fourth place 400 free relay, and earned second place finishes in the 100 and 200 back, and a fourth place finish in the 50 free at the Patriot Invite… Won the 200 back at five dual meets, the 100 back at two meets, and the 50 free and 100 free at one dual meet during the season… Swam season-best times in the 50 free (21.31), 100 free (48.35), 100 back (49.74), and 200 back (1:49.84)… 100 and 200 back times were fastest on the team and rank second and 50 free time was second-fastest and ranks 10th on the all-time top ten lists… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

 

Background: Took first place in the 50, 100 and 200 backstrokes at the Nordic Junior Championships in Oslo, Norway, and was also a part of the winning 400 medley relay… Took seventh in the 50-back at the 2003 European Junior Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.
