2006-07: Finished fifth in the 1650 freestyle, eighth in the 200 backstroke, and 11^th in the 500 free at the America East Championships… Also finished eighth in the 1650 free, 14^th in the 200 back, 15^th in the 500 free and was part of the 10^th place 800 free relay at the Patriot Invite… Won the 1000 free against Bucknell and Colgate... Swam season best times in the 500 free (5:09.85), 1000 free (10:33.15), 1650 free (17:29.59) and 200 back (2:10.32) at the America East Championships… Served as a team co-captain for her second season.

2005-06: Grabbed bronze in the mile and placed sixth in the 500-free and eighth in the 200-back at the America East Championships… Won the 1,000-free in dual meets against Navy and Towson and won the 200-back at Binghamton… Placed second in the 500-free at Rider and Marist, in the 1,000-free at Bucknell and in the 200-back at Towson… Swam UMBC’s second-fastest time in the mile (17:22.55) and the third-fastest times in the 500-free (5:09.53), the 1,000-free (10:28.40) and the 200-back (2:08.12)… Served as team co-captain.

2004-05: Chosen as America East Most Outstanding Rookie… Took gold in the 1,650-free at the conference championships… Also finished fourth in the 500-free and seventh in the 200-back and swam on the third-place 800-free relay team at AEC’s… Came in ninth in the 200-back and 10th in the 500-free at ECAC’s… Placed third in the 200-free and second in the 200-back and swam the lead-off leg for the third-place 400-medley relay team against William and Mary in her first collegiate meet… Won the first event of her college career when she took the 1,000-free against Rider and swam on the winning 400-free relay team… Also finished second in the 200-back in that meet… Won both the 500- and 1,000-free in dual meets against George Washington and Johns Hopkins… Also won the 1,000-free against Towson and the 500-free in the quad meet against Binghamton, Seton Hall and Millersville… Took the 800-meter freestyle at Navy… Placed second in the 200-back in dual meets against Navy, Towson and Marist and in the quad meet… Also took second in the 200-free against Marist and the 500-free at Towson… Finished second among female college freshmen at the Ocean Mile Swim on New Year’s Day.

Background: Named her swim club’s top female swimmer in 2002-03 and 2003-04… Received the Outstanding Achievement Award at Holy Cross… Placed 13th in the 200-back at the Canadian Nationals… Also considered Boston College and Seton Hall, but chose UMBC because of the swim team and the school’s strong academics.
