2005-06: Placed second in the 200-IM and led off the winning 400-free relay against New Hampshire…came in third in the 200-free against Towson…swam UMBC’s second-fastest time in the 400-IM of the season (4:12.27)…selected to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll…swam season bests in the 100-free (949.13) at the America East Championships and in the 200-free (1:07.14) and 200-IM (1:58.43) at the George Mason Invitational.

 

2004-05: Came in sixth in the 200-IM and anchored the third-place 400-medley relay team against William and Mary in his first collegiate meet…highest individual finish of the season was third in the 500-free in the dual meet against Marist…placed 19th in the 400-IM at ECAC’s.

 

Background: Helped lead his high school team to the Pennsylvania state meet at Penn State…also lettered in lacrosse at Baldwin…earned academic honors all four years of high school…last name is pronounced EYE-bin…son of Ron and Christine Eiben…has an older brother, Ron Jr…born May 8, 1986…majoring in political science and hopes to become a lawyer.
