2005-06: Placed ninth in the 100-back and the 100-fly and 16th in the 200-IM at the America East Championships…highest individual finish of the season was fourth in the 100-back against Howard…anchored the winning 400-free relay at Seton Hall…swam season bests in the 100-back (53.35), 100-fly (52.10) and 200-IM (1:59.38) at AEC’s; in the 50-free (23.17) against Navy; and in the 100-free (48.91) at the George Mason Invitational.

 

2004-05: Highest individual finish of the season was fifth in the 200-back at George Washington and in the 50-free at Howard…took sixth in the 200-back and swam on the fifth-place 400-medley relay against William and Mary in his first collegiate meet…came in 23rd in the 200-back and 29th in the 100-fly at ECAC’s.

 

Background: Helped lead his high school team to the national championship…son of Hector and Gabriela Lopez…has an older brother, Hector…born Feb. 6, 1986…major is undecided.
