2004 - Took bronze in the 1,60 freestyle and finished sixth in the 500 free at the America East Championships.
Personal - Captained his Mount St. Joseph's team and received Scholastic All-American honors as a senior… Was also his squad's MVP from 2000-02… Also considered UMASS and Towson, but chose UMBC because "it had the best selection of courses and the swim team was unlike any other"… Considers his greatest thrill in sports to be "competing with swimmers who may be far better, but pushing himself to gain the will to work harder, and exceeding his own expectations"… Co-hosts a show on the school's radio station, WMBC, with teammate Brian Jaeggi… Son of Mark and Maryann Swann… Born on April 10, 1985… Undecided on his major.
