Softball Finale vs. Hartford Canceled

BALTIMORE--The UMBC softball team's regular-season finale against America East rival Hartford, which was scheduled for Sunday afternoon, has been canceled due to rain and will not be made up.
The Retrievers (34-19, 12-8 AEC) blanked the Hawks twice on Saturday, 9-0 and 8-0, to win the series and secure the No. 4 seed in the America East Championships, which will take place May 7-9 at top-seeded Stony Brook.
