UMBC Dawg Pound Tournament Canceled

BALTIMORE—The remaining games of the UMBC Dawg Pound Tournament have been canceled due to poor field conditions at UMBC Softball Stadium after heavy rain forced the postponement of the first two days' action. Two games were completed Friday morning, with Brown defeating Canisius, 8-2, and Canisius beating Central Connecticut State, 5-4. The rest of the weekend's schedule, including Friday's suspended UMBC/CCSU game, will not be made up.
