Gray Tabbed America East Co-Pitcher of the Week
Ashley Gray earned her second America East Pitcher of the Week award.

Gray posted a perfect 2-0 record with a 1.58 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 17.2 innings. She struck out six and walked two in a complete game five-hit shutout of Stony Brook in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday, then pitched three scoreless inning to start the second game. She came back on Sunday to throw a one-hit shutout, with the Seawolves’ lone hit coming in the first inning. She struck out four in the game.
Gray improved to 12-6 on the season, including 7-3 in conference games, tying Lauren Nicholson’s UMBC record for most America East victories in a season, which was set last year.
The pitcher of the week award is the second of Gray’s career, as she also garnered the accolade on April 17. She is the second Retriever to earn the honor this season, joining freshman Amanda Fefel, who earned it on March 26.
