UMBC’s Softball Double-Header Against Delaware Postponed Until April; Dawg Pound Tournament Schedule Revised

Baltimore-UMBC’s softball double-header against Delaware which was originally scheduled for Wednesday afternoon has been postponed due to snow. The games have been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 18 at 2:30 p.m. at UMBC Softball Stadium.

In addition, this weekend’s UMBC Dawg Pound Tournament schedule has been revised:

Friday, March 9 – Pool Play
1 p.m. St. Francis (Pa.) vs. Bucknell
3 p.m. UMBC vs. Howard

Saturday March 10 – Pool Play
9 a.m. Howard vs. St. Francis (Pa.)
11 a.m. Howard vs. Bucknell
1 p.m. UMBC vs. Bucknell
3 p.m. UMBC vs. St. Francis (Pa.)

Sunday March 11 – Championship Bracket Play
9:30 a.m. 2nd Place vs. 3rd Place
11:30 a.m. 1st Place vs. 4th Place
1:30 p.m. Championship Game
3:30 p.m. Consolation Game

The Retrievers opened the season Tuesday at George Washington and split two games, losing the first, 5-4, in nine innings before taking game two, 5-2, in six.
