Softball Double-Header Versus La Salle Postponed; Saturday Clinic Still On

Baltimore-The UMBC softball team’s double-header against La Salle scheduled for Friday afternoon has been postponed due to field conditions after Thursday’s night’s rain. A makeup date has not been announced

Saturday’s softball clinic will still take place as scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3:300 p.m. at the UMBC Softball Stadium. Walk-in registration begins at 10:30 a.m.

With wintry weather forcing the cancellation of the season-opening Longwood Tournament and postponing double-headers with Mount St. Mary’s, George Washington and La Salle, the Retrievers will now open the season Tuesday, March 6, when they take on George Washington in the rescheduled double-header at the Colonials’ Mount Vernon Field beginning at 1 p.m.
