Junior left fielder Abbie Kahn went 3-for-4 with a grand slam, leading UMBC to an easy 13-5 victory over Towson, in Towson, Maryland this afternoon. It was the second win for the Retrievers against the Tigers in the last week.UMBC scored 9 runs in the top of the second inning to grab a 10-0 advantage. Kahn greeted Towson reliever Kristen Morgan with her first career homer, a grand slam, down the left field line. Freshman right fielder Alexis Viera also added a two-run double in the frame.Senior Angie Amedro picked up the victory on the mound allowing 8 hits and 5 runs in a complete-game effort.
