DELAWARE STATE SNEAKS PAST UMBC, 4-3, TO CLAIM SOFTBALL SPRING CLASSIC TITLE

Baltimore, Md. – Senior pitcher Jessica Murray’s leadoff double in the top of the eight inning proved to be the game winner, as Delaware State (3-1) defeated host UMBC (8-9) by a score of 4-3 in eight innings to claim the Third Annual Spring Classic title this afternoon at the UMBC Softball Stadium. The All-Tournament team will be announced on Monday, March 14.
