UMBC SOFTBALL ANNOUNCES OPENING AE CONFERENCE SERIES WITH ALBANY MOVED TO MONDAY

The UMBC Softball team has announced its three-game series against Albany, originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, has been postponed due to field conditions. The Retrievers and Great Danes will square off on Monday in a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. The series final game will take place on a date yet to be determined.
The Retrievers are in their first year in the America East Conference and were chosen in the preseason conference poll to finish fourth, one spot behind the Great Danes. The series opener against Albany will mark the Retrievers’ first league game in the America East.
