Broke into college softball with a bang as she posted the greatest freshman power numbers in school history in terms of home runs, extra base hits, RBI’s, and total hits... A rising leader who was a defensive gem at third base with outstanding glove work...

“She not only crushes the ball consistently, but she is also a big game-player who plays her best at crunch time. The more important the game, the better she plays,” French said. “I have seen her hit some of the hardest and longest shots out of any college player. She is a quick learner and has the ability to turn the game around with one swing.”

2002- Was awarded NEC Rookie of the Week honors twice, and was selected as the 2002 NEC Rookie of the Year... Finished third on the team with a .349 batting average and a .536 slugging percentage... Received All-Regional First Team and Second Team All-NEC honors... Had nine doubles, and led the league in home runs (10), one being a solo shot in the NCAA Regionals. She also blasted two in the NCAA Play-In Championship game versus Bethune-Cookman to send UMBC to the NCAA’s... Posted 73 hits, good for fourth in UMBC history for a single season. Her 10 total homers already puts her in 8th place in school history... Recorded 50 RBI’s in 209 at-bats.

BACKGROUND- An All-Metro player in the DC/Baltimore area... Born on March 23, 1983... Undecided on her major.
