2008: Made four starts in 30 games played and batted .167 with two hits in 12 at-bats… Scored seven runs… First career hit came against Boston U. (April 19).

 

Background: Transferred to UMBC after two seasons at Bowie State, where she hit .266 with 16 RBI and 27 runs scored as a sophomore in 2007… Helped lead the Bulldogs to the CIAA title and a berth in the NCAA Division-II Tournament… Named the 2005 Unsung Hero of her high school team… Also lettered in soccer and track at Old Mill, and helped lead the Patriots to a county soccer championship… A member of the National Honor Society and a Scholar Athlete… Daughter of Janine and Richard Willey… Has one sister, Jillian… Born March 27, 1987… A biology major who hopes to become a physical therapist.
