Background- Received Central Buckeye Conference All-League, All-Area, and Second Team All-State honors as a senior… Participated in the All-District game during her junior and senior years, and in the Gold Nationals at Georgia in summer 2004… Received three letters in both basketball and volleyball… Also considered Ohio, Wright State, and the University of Dayton, but chose UMBC because she "wanted a new experience and it was the best academically"… Full name is Stephanie Darlene Shore… Daughter of Vernon and Julia Shore… Born on May 21, 1986… Plans to become a Registered Nurse.
