Has developed into a quality team leader as she possesses a great work ethic... “I am truly amazed by Crystal’s improvement during the past two years,” said French... “She has always been able to hit with good line drive power, but has been streaky, and I expect her to continue to become more consistent in trying to become a .300 hitter... Injuries have hindered her development, but if she can remain healthy, she will play first base, or also bat as a designated hitter.”

2003- A shoulder injury allowed her to play just 39 games... Went 21-for-94 with three doubles and nine RBI’s... Walked seven times and was able to score 11 runs for the Retrievers.

2002- Hit .277 in 54 games with five extra-base hits... Was very streaky and attempted to become one of the team’s main cogs in the offensive lineup.

2001- Did not see time on the field after undergoing knee surgery.

Personal- In high school, she received First Team All WCAC as a junior and senior, and led St. John’s to their first playoff appearance ever... Born on May 5, 1982... A Political Science major.
