Finished her best year in 2004 as she was probably the most improved player from the previous season... One of the keys to this year's team and will start in left field as she can track the ball well... Will me moved to either third or fifth in the batting order... Must become an RBI threat to support Pickeral in the lineup... A total team player who plays hard all the time, Coach French expects her to have an outstanding senior season.
2004- Started all 61 games and went 57-for-185 to finish the season with a .308 batting average… Went 22-for-62 in league play, good for a .355 average, and a spot on the America East Second Team… Led the team in triples (3) and stolen bases (8), and was second in homeruns with six… Currently eleventh all-time in UMBC history with 8 homeruns.
2003- Played in 47 games and started in 22 as an outfielder... Had some big hits, including a three-run homerun against Sacred Heart... Went 19-for-73 (.260) with six doubles and two homeruns, good for a .425 slugging percentage... Also drove in 11 runs and was perfect in fielding percentage.
Background- A Baltimore Sun and Howard County Times All-County First Team pick in 2000... Was selected to the Second Team in 1998... Was the MVP of her high school squad in 2000 and once went 3-for-3 with a walk, a single, a triple, a homerun, and three RBI's... Also lettered in field hockey at River Hill... Was a member of the 2001 UMBC field hockey team and was selected Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week for 10/22... Born on December 1, 1982... Daughter of Thomas and Barbara Bile... Majoring in Graphic Design.
