Will battle for time as a catcher and possibly in the outfield... Has shown steady improvement every year, and still working on improving her offensive game... A very smart and heady player... Provides leadership, fire, and a good knowledge of the game.

2004- Played in 22 games, while starting 15… Posted just two hits, but had a double, three walks, and an RBI.

2003- Saw action in only eleven games, but went 1-for-4 with an RBI.

Background- Captained her 2001 and 2002 Binghamton teams... Was selected as a "Who's Who among American High School Students" in 2001... In the same year, at the Eastern Zones Championship game, she went 2-for-2 with a two-run homerun and a sac bunt. Defensively, she allowed no stolen bases and was 3-for-3 in throwing out baserunners... Also a two-year letterwinner in soccer at Binghamton... Considers her greatest assets to be her work ethic, coachability, and competitiveness... Chose UMBC over several schools in NY, NJ, and PA because it "has the best combination of academics and athletics and a really nice campus"... Born on December 27, 1983... Daughter of Mike and Mary Keenan... Majoring in Political Science.
