One of French’s key recruits... Could step right in and be a core player if she can make the rapid adjustment to Division I softball... A very athletic player who can run the ball down in the outfield and steal bases... Will battle Oursler for the starting CF position, and might also see time at shortstop.
Personal- Was a 2002 ASA Gold All-American and an All-Region Selection in centerfield last year at Blinn JC as she hit over .330 in conference play... Led her team to the NJCAA Division I National Championship game... A four-time All-District Selection... Started playing softball at age 8... Also lettered in volleyball at Jersey Village HS... Chose UMBC for its academic program and diverse community... Daughter of Tim and Leda Lindsey... Born on February 6, 1984... Majoring in Economics.
