Will compete for a starting position in LF or CF if she can make the adjustment to Division I play... The fastest runner on the team, and also provides a good glove in the outfield... Has improved her game, but must be more consistent in hitting the ball... Very coachable and enthusiastic and could be this year’s biggest surprise.
Personal- An All-Conference and All-State Selection at CSM... Captained her 2001 Northern team to the state championship title... Also played soccer in high school... Daughter of Steven and Sandra Oursler... Sister Renee played softball at the University of South Florida, while brother Steve had a notable two-year baseball career at Maryland...
