Randy Monroe, Phil Stern to Appear at Sports Legends Museum on Tuesday, Oct. 7

UMBC head basketball coaches Randy Monroe and Phil Stern will be among a host of local college basketball coaches who will appear at Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards on Tuesday, October 7th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a program and reception.
The program will enable local college basketball fans to interact with the coaches from some of the top college basketball teams in the nation. Longtime
“The 2007-2008 college basketball season proved to be one of the most electrifying for college basketball fans in Maryland as UMBC, Mount St. Mary’s, Morgan State, Coppin State University and the University of Maryland each sent at least one of their teams to the NCAA or NIT Tournaments,” said Shawn Herne, chief curator of the Babe Ruth Museum, which operates Sports Legends Museum. “We’re excited to have some of the coaches from those programs join us to share their plans for what is certain to be another incredible season.”
Admission for the program is $15 for the general public, $10 for college students and $5 for members of the
