2013: Ran in two meets for UMBC as a sophomore… Competed at the America East Pre-Conference Meet at Binghamton to open the year as the Retrievers won the team title… Also ran at the Princeton Invitational, completing the West Windsor Field course with an 8k time of 27:48.

2012: Competed in two races, the Towson Invitational and the Mason Invitational, for the Retrievers during his freshman campaign… Finished 29th in his first career meet, the Towson Invite, with a five-mile time of 30:18.4 at Oregon Ridge Park… Took 89th the next week at the Mason Invite at Outlands Plantation… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

Background: Named to the Carroll County Times All-County First Team in both cross country and indoor track as a senior in 2011-12 after receiving second team honors as a junior... Also named to the Piedmont Conference Second Team for both sports as a senior... Earned a silver medal in the 1600m run at the 2012 Maryland Class 2A State Indoor Championships... Helped lead Century to a second place finish at the 2011 Carroll County Cross Country Championships.
