2013: Scored in five of UMBC’s six meets and helped the Retrievers capture the 2013 America East Men’s Cross Country championship at Binghamton… Placed 12th overall in Vestal, N.Y. with an 8k time of 25:25.27 as UMBC won its first conference title since 2005… Finished 11th at the America East Pre-Conference Meet to open the season on Sept. 7 with a time of 26:03.3… Recorded a career-best 8k time of 24:52 while placing 47th at the Princeton Invitational on Oct. 19… The time ranks as the sixth-fastest in school history for that distance… Also scored at the Navy Invitational, finishing 17th (25:07.39), and the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh (25:22)... Recorded the eighth-fastest 10k in school history at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals, completing Lehigh's Goodman Course with a time of 32:02.

2012: Competed in six of the Retrievers’ seven meets, scoring five times, including at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals at Penn State… His 10K time of 32:02.05 at the regional meet ranks as the fourth-fastest in UMBC program history… Placed 19th overall at the America East Championships at New Hampshire to help the Retrievers earned their best team finish, third, since winning the title in 2005… He completed the College Woods 8K course with a time of 26:17.36… Ran his top career 8K time, 24:59.35, two weeks earlier at the Princeton Invitational to place 36th and help UMBC finish fifth overall… This time ranks fifth in the school record book… Set a career-best 5K time in the season-opening Spider Alumni Open at Richmond to record the second-fastest time in program history, 15:31.80… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2011: Competed in five of the Retrievers' six meets, but did not score in any of them... Ran a career-best 8k time of 26:19.23, finishing in 57th, at the America East Conference meet... Placed a career-best 20th at the Mount St. Mary's Dual meet... Recognized on the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Background: Named Most Valuable Player of Minisink Valley in indoor track and field in 2008-09 and 2009-10… Also named MVP in cross country and outdoor track and field his senior season… Is a part of multiple school relay records.

Personal: Son of Robert and Evelyn Albino… Has two brothers, Kevin and Eric… Majoring in psychology and would like to become a track and field coach… Born June 23, 1992.
