Devaud Named to the CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District II Cross Country/Track and Field First Team

BALTIMORE—Senior Dominic Devaud (Baltimore, Md.) has been named to the 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District II Cross Country/Track and Field First Team for the second consecutive year, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America Thursday.

 

Devaud will now receive consideration for Academic All-America honors from CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine’s Academic All-America® program. He was one of ten men in District II to earn first team all-district honors.

 

Devaud won the heptathlon at the IC4A Championships in March after successfully defending his title in the heptathlon at the 2010 America East Indoor Track and Field Championships. He was honored with the Matt Skalsky Scholar-Athlete Award at UMBC’s varsity awards ceremony in May. The 2009 America East Indoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete graduated in late May in mechanical engineering with a 3.62 cumulative GPA.
