Track and Field Finishes Competition at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA—Senior Victor Gilreath (Catonsville, Md./Western Tech/Maryland) of the UMBC men’s track and field team finished seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 14.48m (47’6.25”) at the prestigious Penn Relays in Philadelphia on Saturday.
Junior Martin Nevarez (Casa Grande, Ariz./Central Arizona College) placed 14th in the pole vault, hitting a height of 4.45m (14’7.25”).
The Retrievers will now prepare for the America East Championships May 1-2 at New Hampshire.
