Devaud Wins Heptathlon as Men's Track and Field Finishes Seventh at IC4A Championships in Boston

BALTIMORE—Senior Dominic Devaud (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) won the heptathlon on Day 2 of the IC4A Championships Sunday in Boston. The Retrievers finished seventh out of over 50 schools with 32 points.
Devaud finished with 5,232 points, while junior Keith Onto (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Boro/St. Francis (PA)) earned bronze with 5,183 points. Senior Michael Buccheri (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan/Monmouth) placed eighth with 4,837 points.
Senior Victor Gilreath (Catonsville, Md./Western Tech/Maryland) earned silver in the triple jump with a leap of 15.05m. He also finished sixth in high jump 1.99m.
Sophomore Joshua Hewitson (New Market, Md./Linganore), a day after breaking the school record in the 500-meter dash, finished fourth in the finals with a new record of 1:30.35.
