At Maryland (2010-11): Competed on the indoor team for the Terps before breaking his hand and redshirting the outdoor season.
Background: Won the Baltimore County championship in the shot put... Placed fifth in the shot put at the State meet... Named to the All-State team as a nose tackle on the football team... Helped his team reach the state semifinals... Selected to play in the Crab Bowl.
