Nick Burnett is back for his third season as part of the track and field coaching staff, where he serves as pole vault coach.
Burnett earned a degree in biological and environmental engineering at Cornell University in 2008, where he was a member of the Big Red track and field team. He competed at UMBC during the 2008-09 season as a graduate student and finished seventh in the pole vault and eighth in the javelin at the 2009 America East Outdoor Championships.
Burnett earned a master’s degree in engineering management from UMBC in May 2010.
