2009-10 Indoor: Set a season-best time in the 500-meter dash in 1:07.73 at the New York Armory… Also competed in the 400-meter dash (52.13) at the Rider/Lafayette Winter Games and the 800-meter run (2:04.87) at the Bison Opener.

Background: Won the city championship in the 800m run in 2009… Was selected to the All-Star team that represents the public schools at the State Championship as a senior… Also ran the 4x800 relay in high school, and his team recorded a time of 8:02 in 2009… Was selected to run in the high school section at a professional track meet.
 
Personal: Son of Tasha Jones and Malik Myers… Has two brothers Malik, 30, and Jabarie, 15…Transferred  to UMBC from Medgar Evers College… Started running track when he was 14… Born  July 19, 1990.
