2009 Outdoor: Won the gold medal in the high jump at the America East Championships with an NCAA Regional-qualifying leap of 1.98m… Won silver in the triple jump at the conference meet with a school-record breaking mark of 15.10m… Placed 23rd at the NCAA East Regional Championships with a jump of 14.88m… Awarded the Most Valuable Athlete honor at UMBC’s varsity awards banquet.
2008-09 Indoor: Hit an NCAA provisional-qualifying mark and UMBC school record of 15.49m on his way to earning bronze at the America East Championship in the triple jump… Earned gold in the high jump at the conference meet with a leap of 2.06m… Also placed 12th in the long jump with a mark of 6.52m… Named Most Valuable Athlete at UMBC’s varsity awards banquet in May.
