2014 Outdoor: Won gold in the 1,500m run event at the 2014 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Vermont… Also helped the 4x800m relay team capture the gold medal at the conference meet with a new school record time of 7:34.11… Set a season-best time of 3:48.59 in the 1,500m event at the IC4A Championships held at Princeton, which is less than half of a second off of his school record pace set in 2013… Also competed in the 5,000m run during the season, posting a top time of 14:52.28 at the Colonial Relays at William and Mary… Anchored the 4x800 relay team at the meet in Williamsburg, helping the Retrievers meet the IC4A standard with a time of 7:36.97.

2013-14 Indoor: Broke the school record at both the 1,000m (2:25.48) and one mile (4:08.12) distances during the winter season… Won a bronze medal in the one-mile event at the 2014 America East Indoor Championships in New York… Also helped the 4x800m relay, as well as the distance medley relay, win a bronze medal at the conference meet at The Armory… Qualified for the IC4A Championships in both events… Placed ninth in the one mile at the IC4A meet after breaking the school record in the preliminary round.

2013 Outdoor: Set the school record in the 1,500m run during his fourth-place finish at the 2013 America East Outdoor Championships… Crossed the line in a career-best time of 3:48.35 to eclipse Anthony Kelhower’s mark of 3:49.20 set back in 2007… Improved his time eight seconds from the preliminary round (3:56.35) when he finished seventh… Placed fifth in the finals of the event at the IC4A Championships with a time of 3:49.67.

2012-13 Indoor: Led off for the victorious 4x800m relay team at the 2013 America East Indoor Championships… Also led off for the distance medley relay which captured third at the America East meet… Earned a sixth-place finish in the one-mile run at the conference championships with a time of 4:20.87… Recorded his personal-best mile time of 4:16.51 at the Penn State Nationals to move up to sixth all-time in the UMBC record book.

2012 Outdoor: Ran a team season-best 1,500m at the America East Championships, finishing fourth with a time of 3:51.33... Finished sixth in the 800m run with a time of 1:55.74 at the Morgan State Legacy Meet... Won his section race for the 1,500m at the Bison Outdoor Classic... Top UMBC finisher in the 1,500m event at the Duke Invitational.

2011-12 Indoor: Competed at the season-opening Bison Opener, completing the 800m run in 2:04.27 and the mile in 4:27.30.

2011 Outdoor: Finished in the top-50 out 100 at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational in the 800m run... Helped the 4x800m relay team win a bronze medal at the America East Championships. 

2010-11 Indoor: Finished second overall in the 800m run (1:53.94) at the 2011 New Balance Collegiate Invitational… Placed fourth in the 1,000m run (2:29.53) at the Penn State National Invitational… Also a part of the 4x800m relay team that won a bronze medal at the America East Championships.

Background: Named Most Valuable Player of Minisink Valley in indoor track and field in 2008-09 and 2009-10… Also named MVP in cross country and outdoor track and field his senior season… Is a part of multiple school relay records.

Personal: Son of Evelyn and Robert Albino… Has two brothers, Kevin and Eric… Majoring in psychology and would like to become a track and field coach… Born June 23, 1992.
