2014 Outdoor: Nearly broke his own school record in the shot put at the season-opening FSU Relays in Tallahassee, Fla. with a toss of 16.59m (54’5.25”)… Placed third in the event at the meet and qualified for the IC4A Championships… Won a bronze medal in the shot put event at the 2014 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a top heave of 16.12m (52’10.75”)… Also competed in the hammer throw at the conference meet, placing 18th… Finished 21st in the shot put at the IC4A Championships held at Princeton.

2013-14 Indoor: Did not compete.

2013 Outdoor: Set the school record in the shot put twice during the season, first while placing second at the Big Dawg Invitational on Mar. 30, and then while claiming the top spot in the event at the Morgan State Legacy Meet on Apr. 20… After setting the mark at 16.55m (54’3.75”), he achieved a career-best toss of 16.60m (54’5.50”) to overtake Dustin Gauthier’s mark of 15.75m (51’8.25”) set in 2002… Won a silver medal in the event at the 2013 America East Outdoor Championships… Also placed sixth in the discus and eighth in the hammer throw at the conference meet at Binghamton… Finished 14th in the shot put at the IC4A Championships.

2012-13 Indoor: Set the school record in the shot put while winning a silver medal in the event at the 2013 America East Indoor Championships… His toss of 16.50m (54’1.75”) eclipsed the previous record of 16.31m (53’6.25”) set the previous season by Aaron Brooks… Finished tied for 15th at the IC4A meet in Boston, Mass.  with a heave of 15.79m (51’9.75”)… Took seventh-place in the weight throw at the conference meet… Posted a season-best in the event at the Penn State Nationals with a throw of 16.66m (54’8.00”), which ranks sixth in school history.

Background: Competed during the 2012 indoor season for Maryland... Posted a season-best mark while placing sixth in the shot put (15.30m, 50'2.50") at the Terrapin Invitational.  Recorded a season-best in the weight throw with a toss of 15.37m (50'5.50") at the same meet... Previously competed at Morgan State where he finished sixth in the discus and eighth in the shot put at the 2011 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Outdoor Championships... Named First Team All-State, All-Region, and All-County for throws at Reservoir High... Won 13 individual championships in high school... An honor roll athlete in both high school and college... Also lettered in football and wrestling for the Gators.
