Men's Tennis Wraps Up Holiday Weekend With 6-1 Victory Over Morgan State

After UMBC dropped a match at the No. 1 singles position, Aranzazu, Adewumi and Patel quickly triumphed to wrap up the match for the hosts. Aranzazu overwhelmed Jannick Tash, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 3 singles, and Adewumi defeated Eric Ward, 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 2 position. Patel dropped just one game at the No. 6 hole, routing James Lee, 6-0, 6-1.
Gray, in the No. 5 position and junior No. 4 Gaulthier Berret (Lagny Sur Marne, France) added on singles victories to finalize the scoring. Gray took down Aaron Benjamin, 6-4, 6-3, while Berret outfought Djordje Ljubinkovic, 3-6, 6-2 (10-4).
