2008-09: Produced a singles record of 15-16, primarily at the No. 3 position… Played in some tough luck, dropping seven of eight three-set matches… Also recorded a 10-14 mark in doubles competition… At the Sergio Tacchini Collegiate Invitational in the fall, he made a run to the finals in A-2 singles… Defeated players from Drexel, Delaware and Coastal Carolina, before falling in three tough sets (7-5, 3-6, 6-4) to Emil Lindgren from 32nd-ranked VCU.
2007-08: Named to six-member America East Conference All-Academic tennis team... Elevated to the No. 1 singles position and posted a season mark of 15-17... Won a tough 7-6, 2-6, 7-5 victory over Binghamton’s Faisal Mohammed.in the conference semifinal match... Formed a solid duo with Fredi Voorman at No. 3 doubles and won six of seven matches down the stretch... Has 70 matvch victories in two seasons.
2006-07: Produced an impressive fall for UMBC in his first semester… Captured the Flight “C” Singles in the Cornell Invitational men’s tennis tournament… Cruised in straight sets to defeat his first three opponents and won a tough three-set match, 6-1, 1-6, 6-4 over Cornell’s Tongle Yu in the finals… Also won the “B” Flight singles bracket of the Hampton Roads Collegiate Tennis Invitational of Newport… Won his first three matches in straight sets, captured a third set tie-breaker (11-9) in the semi-finals and defeated Navy’s Jason Hill, 6-4, 2-0, ret. to take the title... Competed at No. 2 singles in the spring and earned First Team All America East honors... Led UMBC in singles victories for the year (24) and overall wins (42)... Also combined with Fernando Ferreira to form No. 3 doubles squad, which also earned First Team all-league honors.
