2008-09: The team’s co-Most Valuable Player… Earned Second-Team All-Conference honors at No. 2 singles and teamed with senior Nick Savage-Pollock  to earn First-Team honors at No. 1 doubles… Posted a mark of 10-4 in fall singles… A semifinalist at Cornell invitational… The Georgetown Classic champion with a  6-4, 5-7, 6-3 win in finals over George Washington… Posted two wins in Wilson/ITA Northeast Regional Championships to reach the round of 32… Compiled an overall season record of 24-8 in singles… In fall doubles competition, he reached the finals at the Sergio Tacchini Invitational before dropping a tough 9-7 decision to Perez/Ramos of Coastal Carolina… Recorded a mark of 10-3 in doubles in the fall and was the Georgetown Classic Champion with  Savage-Pollock…  Won 15 of 18 doubles matches in the spring… At No. 1 singles, he won last 12 matches of the season… Posted a mark of 25-6 in doubles… For the season, he was 49-14 overall.

2007-08: Named to six-member America East Conference All-Academic team... Suffered a hand injury during the winter and missed athe first half of the spring campaign... Won all five of his singles matches at No. 5 (5-0), until he dropped a difficult 4-6, 7-6, 7-5 decision in the conference semifinals... Triumphed in six of seven matches at No. 3 doubles with Chris Meyer... Owns team-best winning percentage in singles (28-9, .757) and overall (51-18, .739)

2006-07: Produced a fabulous spring campaign, earning First Team All America East honors in singles (No. 4) and doubles (No 1 with Nick Savage-Pollock)... The aforementioned duo earned a national ranking early in their tenure... Won his final nine singles matches of the year to finish the campaign with a sizzling 17-4 mark... His overall mark for the semester was 31-10.

Background: Majoring in financial economics... A mid-year transfer to UMBC… Was ranked #152 in the European Tennis Association… Placed second in the Riga Open in 2002… Lists favorite movie as The Terminator… Attended UMBC for “its location, good tennis and good academics”… Has one brother, Reimo, and a sister, Maria…  Son of Siiri and Margus Voorman… Born October 23, 1987.
