2006-07: Competed in 22 matches in the fall, going 5-7 in singles and 6-4 in doubles action… reached the doubles finals with Irfan Shamasdin at the Hampton Woods Invitational... produced a brilliant spring, earning Player of the Year honors in the America East Conference... also named the America East Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, as he won the decided match vs. Stony Brook... earned the league’s Player of the Week award on April 3 and carried a 16-match doubles winning steak into the NCAA Tournament... also won 11 of his last 12 singles matches at No. 3 singles and earned First Team All Conference honors in singles and doubles (No. 2)... was 18-11 on the season in singles and 22-5 in doubles and is tied with Irfan Shamasdin for wins by an active player with 85... named the 2007 team “Unsung Hero.”
2005-06: Moved from the middle part of the ladder to the #1 singles position last season… excelled with Fernando Ferreria at #1 doubles where the duo combined for a 5-2 mark…won 17 spring matches and 22 overall… named the team’s “Most Improved Player.”
2004-05: Came on strong down the stretch of the season, winning seven of his last eight singles matches…posted 13-12 records in both singles and doubles, where he played at #1 doubles with Irfan Shamasdin in the final half of the spring campaign…named Second Team All America East Conference.
Background: The Dodds (Department of Defense Schools) European runner-up in 2002 and the champion in 2003…both parents are members of the United States Armed Services…. was ranked as high as 15 in Southern Germany during his time there…completed his high school tenure at Liberty in Carroll County, Maryland…also lettered in basketball and averaged about 18 ppg…an honor roll student in all four years of high school…nicknamed David "Action" Jackson or "D" Train… majoring in information systems …has two sisters, Debbie Jackson, 16, and Lauren Pearce, 16…son of Lori and David Jackson, Sr….born July 5, 1986.
