Reitz Named America East Male Swimmer of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—UMBC men’s swimming and diving senior Brad Reitz (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) has been named America East Male Swimmer of the Week for the week ending Nov. 14, as announced by the conference Tuesday.
Reitz earned four first-place finishes against Maryland and Towson Saturday, winning the 100-yard butterfly (50.26), 200 fly (1:50.94) and 200 IM (1:54.58), all of which were UMBC season-best times. All three times were also career-best dual meet times for Reitz. The senior was also a part of the 200 medley relay team that touched first in 1:34.68.
The Retrievers return to action this weekend for the Patriot Invitational Friday through Sunday in Fairfax, Va.
