Background: A five-time national champion in the backstroke in Estonia… Claimed silver in the 200-meter backstroke at the 2007 Junior Nordic Swimming Championships and finished fifth in the 100 back and sixth in the 50 back… Represented Estonia in the 2010 European Championships.

Personal: Son of Anne and Heigo Rohtla… Has two younger siblings, Hanna (18) and Markus Hugo (11)… Majoring in chemical engineering… Born June 24, 1990.
