2008-09: Captured silver in the 200-yard individual medley, bronze in the 100-yard breaststroke and eighth place in the 100-yard butterfly at the America East Championships… Part of the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that earned silver at the conference meet… Placed second in the 200 IM and fourth in the 100 fly at the Patriot Invitational… Claimed four victories in the 100 breast during the dual meet season… Swam career-best times in the 100 breast (56.96), 100 fly (49.49) and 200 IM (1:50.32) at the America East Championships, which rank fourth, fourth and second all-time at UMBC, respectively.
2007-08: Was part of the gold medal-winning 400-yard freestyle relay (3:04.78) which set a new University of Maine Wallace Pool record ath the Ameirca East Championships... Earned silver in the 200 individual medley, bronze in the 100 butterfly, finished fifth in the 100 breaststroke and was part of the silver medal-winning 200 free relay at the America East Championships… Finished second in the 200 IM, third in the 100 free and 100 fly and fifth in the 100 breast at the GMU Patriot Invitational... Won the 200 and 400 free and 200 medley relays and the fourth-place 400 medley relay at the Patriot Invitational… Won the 50 free against Towson and the 200 IM against Rider and was part of the winning 400 free relay at four meets, 200 medley at two meets, and 400 medley at one meet during the season… Held UMBC’s fastest time of the season in the 200 IM (1:51.63), which was also a career-best and ranks fourth on the all-time top ten list… Swam season-best times in the 50 free (21.54), 100 fly (50.70), 200 IM (1:51.63), and 100 breast (58.95) at the America East Championships and in the 100 free (46.83) at the Patriot Invite… Named to the America East All-Academic Team.
2006-07: Earned bronze in the 200 individual medley and silver as part of the 200 and 400 freestyle and 200 and 400 medley relays at the America East Championships… Also finished fourth in the 100 free and fifth in the 100 butterfly at the same meet… Was part of the Patriot Invitational champion 400 free, second place 200 free, third-place 800 free and sixth-place 200 medley relays… Finished second in the 100 fly, third in the 200 IM, seventh in the 100 free and 12th in the 50 free at the same meet… Was part of the winning 400 free relay at four dual meets during the season and the won the 50 free against Colgate and the 100 fly against Marist… Swam UMBC’s fastest 200 IM (1:53.88), second-fastest 100 free (46.81) and 100 fly (50.61) and third-fastest 50 free (21.37) times of the season… 100 fly time ranks sixth on the all-time top 10 list… Named to the America East Honor Roll.
Background: Named to All-South Jersey First Team in 2005 and 2006… Also named to All-Conference First Team all four years in high school… Placed sixth in the 100-fly at the state meet in 2006 and sixth in the 50-free in 2005… Led his team to a second-place finish at the state meet in 2006… Named team co-MVP as a junior and Unsung Hero as a senior… Captained his team as a junior and senior..
