2008-09: Claimed bronze in the 1,650-yard freestyle, fourth in the 400-yard individual medley and fifth in the 500 free at the America East Championships… Finished fourth in the 400 IM and seventh in the 200 IM in the Patriot Invitational… Won the 400 IM once during the dual meet season… Held UMBC’s fastest times in the 1,650 free (15:55.89) and the 400 IM (3:59.00)… His 400 IM time ranks third all-time at UMBC and his 1,650 free is fifth… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2007-08: Claimed silver in the 400-yard individual medley and was fourth in the 1,650 freestyle and 200 IM at the America East Championships… Also won the 400 IM and was third in the 200 backstroke, fifth in the 1650 free, and sixth in the 500 free at the GMU Patriot Invitational… Won the 1,000 free at three meets during the dual meet season and was first in the 400 IM twice, 200 IM once and 100 IM once… Held UMBC’s fastest times in the 100 (55.60) and 400 IM (4:00.90)... Competed in the 2008 Canadian National Swimming Trials for a spot on the Canadian Olympic Team.

Background: A Provincial champion in 2004 and a Canadian Olympic Trials qualifier… Recorded a personal best in every event he swam in the Eastern Canadian Championships in 2006… His club team claimed the age group national championship in 2007… Competed at the 2006 Pan-Pacific Trials, where he finished tenth in the 1,500-meter freestyle... Also earned the award for sportsmanship and leadership during the 2005-06 season.
