2008-09: Placed fourth in the 1,000-yard freestyle against William and Mary… Swam career-best times in the 200 free (1:46.56), 500 free (4:44.47) and 1,650 free (16:29.93) at the America East Championships… Named to the America East Honor Roll.
2007-08: Finished 32nd in the 200-yard freestyle, 34th in the 500 free, 38th in the 100 free and tied for 58th in the 50 free at the GMU Patriot Invitational… Highest finish of the year came against Towson and Marist where he was fourth in the 500 free... Was part of the fourth-place 400 free relay in his first officially scored dual meet against Rider… Swam season-best times in the 100 free (50.44), 200 free (1:49.51) and 500 free (4:52.74) at the America East Championships.
Background: A letterwinner for Linganore High School in Frederick, Md…. Received Frederick News First-Team All-County honors from 2005-2007… Also named to the Frederick Area Swim Team Hall of Fame in 2007… Member of the National Honor Society… Received the Linganore Chemistry Department award.
