2008-09: Finished seventh in the 500-yard freestyle and eighth in the 200 free at the Patriot Invitational… Placed third in the 200 free against William and Mary… Swam season-best times in the 100 free (47.73), 200 free (1:42.47) and 500 free (4:33.87) at the America East Championships… His 500 free time ranks 10th all-time at UMBC.
Background: Swam at Cherry Hill West High School and was named to All-South Jersey Swim Third Team in 2006, 2007 and 2008 for the 200 freestyle… Named John Bohnanna “Most Courageous Award” recipient in 2007 by the South Jersey Interscholastic Association… Member of the New Jersey state record-holding 200 freestyle relay team in 2008… Voted Best Newcomer at Cherry Hill West for the 2004-05 season… Helped Cherry Hill West to state championship in 2007.
