2007-08: Was part of the gold-medal winning 400-yard freestyle relay (3:04.78) which set a new University of Maine Wallace Pool record, finished fourth in the 100 butterfly, ninth in the 50 freestyle, 10^th in the 100 free and claimed silver as part of the 200 free and 200 medley relays at the America East Championships… Finished third in the 50 free, fourth in the 100 free, sixth in the 100 backstroke and fly and was part of the first-place 200 and 400 free and 200 medley relays at the Patriot Invitational… Highest individual finishes of the season came against Towson, Maryland, and Marist, where he finished second in the 50 free… Was also part of the winning 200 medley relay at two dual meets and the 200 and 400 free and 400 medley relays at one meet each… Held UMBC’s fastest time of the season in the 50 back (23.86) at the Patriot Invite and swam season-best times in the 50 free (21.44), 100 free (46.95) and 100 fly (51.16) at the same meet… 100 fly time ranks 10^th on the all-time top 10 list and was a career-best time along with the 100 free.

At LSU: Earned two varsity letters while a member of the Tiger swim team… Finished 31^st in the 50 free and 20^th in the 100 back at the 2006 SEC Championships… Also named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll in 2006… Earned SEC Academic Honor Roll accolades in 2007 and posted his career best times in the 100 free and 100 back… Named to the Dean’s List during his freshman and sophomore years at LSU.

Background: Competed in the European Junior Championships in 2001 and 2002 and the FINA World Championships in 2003... Finished fourth in the 50-meter backstroke, eighth in the 50 freestyle, and 10th in the 100 free at the 2006 Estonian Championships... Has also claimed numerous Estonian championship crowns on the junior and senior levels.

Personal: One of four children to Siiri and Indrek Schneider… Has two brothers, Tom (23) and Rasmus (33) and one sister, Triinu (31)… Majoring in financial economics… Born January 3, 1984.
