2006-07: Earned bronze in the 400 individual medley, was part of the silver medal-winning 400 freestyle relay, and placed sixth in the 200 IM and 11^th in the 100 free at the America East Championships… Also finished sixth in the 200 IM, seventh in the 400 IM, 14^th in the 100 free, and was part of the bronze medal-winning 800 free relay, fourth place 400 free relay and sixth place 200 free relay at the Patriot Invite… Swam on the winning 400 free relay four times during the season… Also won the 200 free against Marist and the 200 IM against Bucknell… Swam UMBC’s second-fastest time in the 400 IM (4:08.80), which was also a career best… Also swam career bests in the 100 free (47.78) and 200 IM (1:55.50) at the America East Championships and 200 free (1:45.28) at the Patriot Invitational... Named to the America East Honor Roll and America East Winter All-Academic Team.

2005-06: Placed second in the 200-IM and led off the winning 400-free relay against New Hampshire… Came in third in the 200-free against Towson… Swam UMBC’s second-fastest time in the 400-IM of the season (4:12.27)… Selected to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Swam season bests in the 100-free (949.13) at the America East Championships and in the 200-free (1:07.14) and 200-IM (1:58.43) at the George Mason Invitational. 

2004-05: Came in sixth in the 200-IM and anchored the third-place 400-medley relay team against William and Mary in his first collegiate meet… Highest individual finish of the season was third in the 500-free in the dual meet against Marist… Placed 19th in the 400-IM at ECAC’s.

Background: Helped lead his high school team to the Pennsylvania state meet at Penn State… Also lettered in lacrosse at Baldwin… Earned academic honors all four years of high school.

Personal: Son of Ron and Christine Eiben… Has an older brother, Ron Jr… Born May 8, 1986… Majoring in political science and hopes to become a lawyer... Last name is pronounced EYE-bin.
