UMBC Competes on Day One of NCAA Zone “A” Competition

Buffalo, N.Y.—Three Retriever divers took to the boards on the first day of the 2015 NCAA Zone "A" Diving Championships. Seniors Ryan Green (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) and Pak Lam Wong (Hong, Kong/Kowloon Technical School) tackled the 1 meter boards, while junior Coco Darelius (Rye, N.Y./Rye) competed on the 3 meter boards.

Darelius competed in the 3 meter dive on Monday, finishing in 52nd place in the event with a total score of 191.00.

Pak Lam Wong was the top finisher on the men's side, placing 35th with a score of 237.15. Ryan Green took 40th with a tally of 228.20.

The roles will be reversed tomorrow as Pak and Ryan take on the 3 meter boards, and Coco tackles the 1 meter board. Competition begins at 11:00 a.m.
