2011-12: Won his first career dual meet race, the 400-yd. IM, at Howard on Jan. 14 with a season-best time of 4:18.22... Also finished second in the 1,000-yd. free against Howard... Placed fourth in the 200-yd. back at the Terrapin Invite swimming a season-best 1:55.63... Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2010-11: Won the 400 -yard IM, swimming his best time of the season (4:09.44), at the Terrapin Invite... Placed 16th in the 1,650-yard freestyle and 17th in the 400 IM at the Patriot Invitation... Finished a dual meet season-best of fourth against Drexel and Howard... Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2009-10: Swam season-best times in the 500-yard freestyle (4:40.40), 200-yard backstroke (1:56.10) and 400-yard individual medley (4:09.21) at the Terrapin Cup Last Chance Meet… Finished 18th in the 400 IM and the mile at the Patriot Invitational… Highest finish during the dual meet season was fourth in the 1,000 free against Drexel and Howard and in the 200 back against Rider… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

 

Background: Named Oakville Trafalgar High School’s Male Most Valuable Swimmer in 2009… Was a National Team member in his age group with the Oakville Aquatics Club in 2007 and 2008. 

 

Personal: Son of Rob and Joanne Kent… Has two younger sisters, Maisey and Jillian… His aunt, Donna, swam in the Olympics in 1984 and 1988… Majoring in financial economics and hopes to become a forensic accountant… Born July 11, 1991.
